An American Airlines flight was forced to divert and a number of cabin crew had to be rushed to hospital after a mysterious odour was detected onboard.
AA728 flight was forced to divert to Boston around 90 minutes after taking off from Philadelphia on Sunday evening.
The Airbus A330-300 had been carrying 154 passengers and 12 crew members, and was en route to London’s Heathrow Airport, EuroNews report.
However, just under two hours into the trip, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Logan Airport due to an unknown odour.
Emergency Medical Services in Boston received a call at around 11.45pm local time and a number of ambulances met the plane to bring 10 American Airlines crew members to hospital for evaluation.
